Outreach Schedule: Send Strategically
A perfectly written email that arrives at 2am on a Sunday gets read the same way as no email at all. The outreach schedule controls which days you send, which hours, and how many. Getting it aligned to your prospects' time zone rather than your own is one of the cheapest wins available on response rate.
Let's take a look at the Outreach Schedule. Now, this is a feature that is available against every campaign and can be found within the campaign settings. Now, the Outreach Schedule is here to help you control exactly when your communications will be sent. This is particularly important when we're trying to increase things like engagement rates and booster responses. Now, in this menu, you can select which days you want your communications to send on, and between which times, and how many communications should come from this campaign. Now, when selecting your days, it's important to consider when that person is most likely to see your comms.
Engagement over the weekend usually is much less versus mid-week, so choosing Monday to Friday can help you get a higher level of responses. The same goes for your timing. Consider your target time zone. We want to target this audience within business hours when they're most likely to see your communications, so going for something between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. again will greatly increase your chance of getting a good response rate. Now, when it comes to the daily limit and how to effectively manage your outreach limits, we want to consider how many campaigns we're running and how many emails will be attached to this campaign.
For example, if I maybe have a brand new email account that hasn't really been used before and it's only attached to this one campaign, I might want to reduce that limit initially. Over time, I can increase it once the email gets warmed up, but I want to make sure that email doesn't take on too much too soon. Now, let's say that I have multiple emails attached to this campaign through something like email rotation. That means that multiple emails are dividing the total amount of sends that can come from this campaign a day. If that's the case, I can usually increase this much higher because this total volume will be evenly divided between each of my connected accounts. Now, once you're happy with your settings, we want to select Save, and now you'll be good to go and start your outreach.
